Community Involvement
Most industries have associations. The landscape industry is no different. We at Prebbel are part of Landscape Ontario and, by association, the Canadian Nursery Landscape Association. Companies join associations for a number of reasons, but one of the primary reasons to join an association is for a sense of belonging. It helps to feel like you’re not alone and to feel you have the benefit and support of your peers.
Community involvement is a lot like being part of an association. As a business licensed to operate in the city of Ottawa, we are answerable to our local business community and to the greater Ottawa citizenry. We have a duty to support businesses and charities in our local community and operate our business in an ethical manner.
As part of our community commitment we will always shop locally whenever possible. We will also continue to support local charities. We are strong supporters of the local Children’s Wish foundation and sponsor yearly golf tournaments and fundraisers. We were also recently hands on with children’s wish and built a back yard playground to fulfill a local childs wish.
